Call for abstracts for the 19th Kyushu Orthodontic Society Academic Conference

Abstract registration period: September 1st (Friday) – September 19th (Tuesday)

[Notes on submitting abstracts]

  1. Please complete the online registration by following the questions in the form. You will be required to declare the number of abstract submissions (initial or revised/resubmitted), so please be careful not to register twice as a first-time abstract.
  2. Be sure to confirm that it has been sent (it will appear on your screen).
  3. Once you complete your online registration, you will receive an automatic reply email. If you do not receive it, your abstract has not been registered, so please try again from the beginning.
  4. At a later date, the conference secretariat will send the peer review results to the email address used when registering your abstract. Please confirm the email address you used when registering your presentation.
  5. Although we will not issue an application confirmation, you can confirm your application here. The password will be displayed at the time of application and will take a few days to reflect.
  6. Please register separately for the tournament.

 

[Notes on creating an abstract]

  1. Please list the names of the presenters, starting with the presenter.
  2. For affiliation, please enter the university name, medical institution name, and company name.
  3. The text of the abstract should be within 800 characters.
  4. You cannot include diagrams or photos.
  5. Please do not use special characters (including dental symbols) such as non-standard characters that cannot be handled. If use is unavoidable, mark it with a ● and write an explanation at the end of the sentence.
  6. Adjust the layout when printing the abstract.
  7. Please write your abstract in the format shown below, with headings separated. The oral presentation will be 7 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for Q&A (planned).

About the 19th Kyushu Orthodontic Society Academic Conference

Dear Members of the Kyushu Orthodontic Society, I would like to express my gratitude to all the members of the Kyushu Orthodontic Society. We would like to inform you that the 19th Kyushu Orthodontic Society Academic Conference will be held as follows. As we enter the With Post-Corona phase, we plan to hold in-person events, but we also plan to continue holding on-demand tournaments. We would like to ask presenters to cooperate with on-demand presentations as much as possible, so we appreciate your understanding. 1. Dates: January 27, 2024 (Sat) 12:20-18:00 (planned) (social gathering scheduled to start at 18:30) 28th (Sun) 9:00-13:10 (scheduled) 2. Venue: Kagoshima Prefectural Dental Hall (13-15 Terukuni-cho, Kagoshima City, 892-0841) 3. Theme: Aiming for high-quality orthodontic treatment - responding to diversifying patient needs - 4. Tournament format: Face-to-face and on-demand format 5. General presentation topics: oral presentation (academic, case), academic exhibition, case exhibition, case report, case presentation 6. Abstract registration period: September 1st (Friday) to September 19th (Tuesday) The abstract registration period will not be extended, so please be sure to apply within this period. 7. Tournament participation (advance) registration period: September 1st (Friday) - December 15th (Friday) There is no accommodation information. If you need accommodation, please make your own arrangements. Please be sure to check the details of the academic conference, which will be sent in writing in mid-August.
